Meet Dr. Baker NP

Dr. Lawson-Baker received her DNP in 2008 from Chatham University. In 2004, after 20 years of nursing, she opened the first NP Housecall practice in the state of Lousiiana. In 2008, she was awarded the ADVANCE for Nurse Practitioner magazine's esteemed Entrepreneur of the Year award and was featured on the cover of the journal. She was also interviewed by Katie Couric on CBS Evening News for her innovative ways to improve access to healthcare especially after Hurricane KATRINA. Highly sought after for keynote speaking and countless other media venues, she is the CEO of Advanced Clinical Consultants and owner of The Housecall Course which is the only course in the nation training NPs on how to start a Housecall practice. Her most recent accomplishments are the 2013 New Orleans City Business Healthcare Hero award and establishing a publishing company for all of her literary work.
