Episode Summary
There has been a continued climb with Autism rates that have led to a need for continued Autism Awarenes, and increased Autism knowledge. There is evidence from scholarly literature that has indentified knowledge gaps that impacts the quality of care for individuals with Autism.
Healthcare staff, parents and caregivers of individuals with Autism desire to improve these knowledge gaps. The goal of this presentation is to improve Autism education efficacy by decreasing identified knowledge gaps with parents, caregivers and healthcare providers with individuals with Autism.
This three part series on autism shares information Dr. Rachel shared in educational webinars during her doctoral program. The accompanying video mentioned during the episodes will be published soon. For more information on the show notes be sure to check out our blog at check out our blog
